Small lightweight pop-up camper Jayco)

Small lightweight pop-up camper Jayco)

I'm selling my popup camper -- a Jayco Eagle Qwest 8, which is one of the smallest and easiest-to-tow tent trailers out there. I have camped in it regularly and towed it all over California while I've owned it; I spent about 30 nights in it last year and despite its age, it is still very usable for camping and off-grid adventures. It has two approximately full-size beds, and the dinette area can be converted to a third bed. It's extremely lightweight (dry weight of 1,100 pounds) so you can tow it even with a car -- see photos!

I've made many improvements to the camper recently, including:Repainted the exterior (white, all decals removed). Note that many of the "action photos" attached to this ad were taken before repainting!Added new contemporary wood-look vinyl floorResealed many of the most vulnerable seams with Eternabond RV tape (amazing for leak protection -- keeps a valid seal for years, much better than typical sealant)Replaced a tire (about six months ago)Added new 12V outlet with a standard 12V connector (you can plug in car chargers or anything that fits that type of outlet) and two USB ports, great for when you are traveling off the grid and need to rely on battery power onlyReplaced roof lights with two sets of LED lights, very energy-efficient and last forever with batteryAdded new hand-pump water faucet, hooked up to onboard water tankCleaned canvas and washed all cushion and mattress covers in preparation for sale
Of course, it's pretty old at this point and isn't perfect. Here's what you need to know:The canvas is not perfect; all major problem spots have been patched, but the canvas is a bit dirty in some places and there are several small tears. There is also a tear on the large window that the previous owners patched very poorly. It never bothered me much because it's covered by the shades if they are door is a bit misaligned and sticks sometimes, but it still works. The door key is missing; I never received it from the previous owner, but the door can still be locked from the is one cracked corner of a plywood surface inside, and a few scratches here and there on the wood cabinets.
Comes with: fully charged group 27 battery in good condition, refrigerator (an AC mini-fridge; not the original three-way), propane stove (can be used inside and outside), microwave (AC plug-in), spare tire, and tool to raise/lower roof.

I'd be happy to deliver anywhere in SoCal for an additional cost if you're not set up to tow it, and if this will be your first pop-up or trailer, I'll be glad to take the time to show you everything you need to know. Clean title in my name and current PTI registration. Please email, text, or
